He has hired a cook to prepare dinner and invited his friend Robert to provide an alibi. What could possibly go wrong? Suppose Robert arrives not understanding why he has been invited. Suppose Robert and Jacqueline are secret lovers and Jacqueline decides to stay home. Suppose the cook and Suzanne have to change places.
