Town of Oxford, MD: PO Box 339 – 101 Market St – Oxford, MD 21654 – Phone: (410) 226-5122 -Fax: (410) 226 5597. The Town Office is open from 9 am – 4 pm; closed from 12-1pm for lunch.
Basic Directions: From Easton, Take Route 50 to Easton Parkway (route 322), then take Route 333 South, 10 miles to Oxford. Please observe the speed limit changes!
Public Parking: Located at the end of the Strand and by the Ferry Dock. Please be mindful of the grass and residents’ driveways.
Watercraft Launch Ramps: The public ramp in the town is near the Highland Creamery at the end of Tilghman Street. You do not need a permit to launch there, but you do need a permit if you are going to leave the trailer in the parking lot. If you are dropping off a boat and taking the trailer back out of town then no permit is needed. As far as the size of the boat, length is not a concern but width maybe, as I don’t know how wide a 24′ pontoon boat. The ramp is only about 13′ wide. There are larger public landings in Trappe and elsewhere in Talbot County that require a county parking permit. There are also multiple public landings in Cambridge near Sailwinds that are large and do not require any parking permits.
Dog Park: Off of Batchelor’s Point and Pier St. Please curb your dog. There are waste bags provided throughout town.
