For almost 50 years Dr. Stephen A Goldman has been a very serious collector of rare and early newspapers, building one of the largest collections of historical newspapers in private hands. He is the author or co-author of several books that use newspaper front pages to tell the story of a particular theme (Titanic Disaster, Wild West Outlaws, Civil War).

The 2019 Model Boat Show(MBS) will he held on Saturday, November 9th at the Oxford Community Center in conjunction with Waterfowl and the Oxford Firehouse Antiques Fair. Roughly 45 nationally known boat modelers/ship artists from the Delmarva Peninsula and beyond are expected on-site. The displays range from Chesapeake-style crafts such as skiffs, sailboats, crab and oyster boats, historical ships, motor boats, and much more.
